1 Raja Ampat

The first tourist spot that probably everyone already knows is Raja Ampat. This tourist spot is a series of islands located in Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua.


This tourist spot stretches with an area of   4.6 million hectares. The name Raja Ampat is based on an ancient legend about a woman who found four eggs.


The egg hatched four kings on the main island. But despite all the legends, one thing that cannot be denied is the beauty of Raja Ampat is something real.


2 Baliem Valley

In the Jayawijaya mountains, which are the highest mountains in Indonesia, there is a place called the Baliem Valley. This place which can be reached 27 km away from Wamena City is the residence of 3 main tribes, namely the Dani Tribe, Yali Tribe and Lani Tribe.

3  Lake Sentani

This tourist spot, which is the largest lake in Papua, lies between Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency. The lake which has an area of   9,360 hectares is decorated with 21 small islands that add to its beauty.


Sentani which means here we live in peace, it feels very suitable for the situation in this place. Because tourists who come here will be presented with beautiful views that bring peace.


This lake also has a beauty that spoils the eyes, it also stores a wealth of incomparable marine life, various kinds of fish milling about and living quietly in the waters of this vast lake.


4 Lorentz National Park

Tourist attractions that have the greatest splendor in Southeast Asia have been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. This national park, which is taken from the name of a Dutch scientist, has an area of   2,505,600 hectares.


Various kinds of animals live in this park that spans 10 districts in Papua. In this park, which has three entrances in three different cities, live as many as 630 species of birds and 123 species of mammals.


In this park there is also a culture that is estimated to be more than 30,000 years old, through the indigenous tribes who live here such as the Nduga, West Dani, Amungne, Sempan, and Asmat. This National Park can be visited by flight from Timika City, followed by a ship via Sawa Erma Harbor before then walking to several locations.


Or tourists can drive a car from Wamena City to Lake Habema before walking to Trikora Peak.


5 Wafsarak Waterfall

The next tourist spot in Papua that deserves to be called a small paradise is Wafsarak Waterfall. The waterfall with a height of 10 meters is very easy to access because it is located on the side of the highway, the distance from this place is about 2 hours from Biak City.


With the green color of the river under this waterfall, it is a perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Swimming and relaxing in the river under this waterfall is perfect for spending time with family.
